Delicious and fluffy buttermilk biscuits perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place 1/2 cup unsalted butter in an 8×8-inch baking dish and the dough should be sticky and lumpy.
- Carefully remove the hot dish with melted butter from the oven. Spoon the dough into the dish, spreading it gently to the edges.
- Score the top of the dough into 9 squares using a butter knife for easy portioning.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.
- Let cool for a few minutes before cutting along the scored lines and serving warm.
Notes
- For best results, use cold buttermilk.
- These biscuits are best served warm.
