Description

A delicious and hearty hash brown casserole perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the frozen hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. Sprinkle diced ham evenly over the hash browns.
  4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  6. Stir in the sliced green onions.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
  8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Allow the casserole to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
