Description
A delicious roasted broccoli dish with a hint of garlic and topped with parmesan cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil (or melted halal-friendly margarine)
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional) for a zesty kick
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli out in a single layer on a baking sheet for even cooking.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the broccoli for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown. Toss halfway through for an even roast.
- Once done, sprinkle the fresh parmesan over the broccoli while it’s still hot. Drizzle with lemon juice if desired.
- Serve immediately as a side or a main attraction!

- This dish pairs well with grilled meats and can be a great vegetarian main as well.
