Description

This glaze adds a sweet and tangy flavor to your ham, perfect for holiday meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and ground cloves.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the brown sugar fully dissolves.
  4. Let the mixture come to a gentle simmer.
  5. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until the glaze thickens slightly.
  6. Remove the glaze from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Brush the glaze onto your ham during the last 30 minutes of baking.
  8. Reapply every 10 minutes for a glossy, flavorful finish.
