A delicious homemade version of the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring ground beef and melted provolone cheese.

- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 medium Green bell pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1/2 cup Beef broth
- 1 cup Provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Sauté the onions and bell peppers in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until soft and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
- Stir in the garlic and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well for about 1 minute.
- Mix in the cream cheese until melted and well combined.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to melt.
- Serve the mixture on toasted buns, heaping it generously.
Notes
- For a sweeter option, substitute the green bell pepper with a red bell pepper.
- Feel free to use chives instead of parsley for a different flavor.
