Description

This creamy chicken dip is perfect for parties and gatherings. Serve it with tortilla chips or fresh veggies for a delicious appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened (Ensure it is at room temperature for easy mixing.)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (Rotisserie chicken is convenient.)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies (Canned or fresh.)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (Adjust to taste.)

  • 1 serving Tortilla chips or fresh veggies (For dipping.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken, diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the dip mixture into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.
